Finally, its been confirmed by Activision Blizzard CEO Robert Kotick that a disc jockey version of the popular video game “Guitar Hero” is scheduled for release sometime this year. Rumor has it that Activision has direct access to the catalogs of Universal Music.

A specially designed game controller, which bears high resemblance to the “Turn table” will be launched, concurrent with the release of “DJ Hero”.
Aspiring DJ’s and music enthusiasts, along with gamers will be able to spin discs, mix exclusive play lists, even get their DJ freak on, while experiencing the true essence of being a disc jockey.
Don’t be surprised to find your next door neighbor screaming “We the best…!”, while living his/her DJ fantasy.
