What is the history of hip hop dance?

I love hip hop dance. I know there are different kinds, and artists have come up with their own styles as well as been influenced by dancing greats (i.e Ne-yo and Chris Brown being influenced by Michael Jackson). I know about break dancing, street dancing, crunk. etc. but give me a low down on the styles and history.

    all of it is derived from african tribal dance.
    that's really all the history i'm 100% sure about, but i'm sure if you googled it and searched around you could find out a bunch of interesting things.

    well it all started with james brown… he added the dance in funk… then locking came along a few years after james brown… then peoplewho didn't know how to lock invented popping but at that time it could be named as break dancing… that's how it all began… then people just gave in new stuff…
